Transition

Dear Blog

I have been neglecting our relationship. It’s not you; it’s me. Things have been changing in my life ~ and at the time, I didn’t feel comfortable divulging the details with you. No offense, but you have a habit of spreading gossip around to pretty much anyone who cares to listen.

Enough time has passed, that I am ready to start sharing with you again. And I will only tell you things that I am okay with you smearing around. ;)

After 4.5 years, V and I have parted ways, and will adventure on in separate directions. I wish her the best of success, and I am confident that she will find that which she seeks.

I have said goodbye to Montreal, terminated my employments, packed my books and extension cords, and moved back to Ontario. I plan to take a bit of time to sleep and make music (two pursuits that have been neglected), and plan the next chapter of my journey.

My sister has invited me to stay with her in New Zealand, that seems like as good a place as any to start. I’m thinking February. In the meantime, I would like to reconnect with as many of my friends in Ontario as possible: Queen’s Players, Twin Lakes, Kwasindians, and my fellow lychra body-suit loving children’s entertainers (and any offspring they may have conceived).

I’ll keep you informed of my travels, and the lessons I learn along the way. As always, your patience is greatly appreciated.

J~

Woohoo! I go away and stop writing, and somehow in the interim, I’ve made connections with friends who subscribe AND comment. Thanks Jordan and Erin.

“Oh god, guy, what the hell?” ~ That was my reaction at first too. :(

We, Soldiers of Love, must march on.
