I first fell in love with his mash-ups around the time of the Beatles’ Love. DJ Earworm’s work is fresher, and a less incestuous approach to mash-ups than the Beatles on Beatles mashing. Check No One Takes Your Freedom, somewhere down the page.
Of the new batch, I’d have to say my favorites are Intergalactic Human and No More Gas.
The Beasties and Daft Punk will always have special places in my heart. That mashup is brilliant. And if I’m going to have to hear that damn song “American Boy” by Estelle DAILY, I might as well here it tastefully integrated into a richer context.
