Brandon Sanderson is a science fiction writer who is tasked to finish the final book in the Robert Jordan series “The Wheel of Time”. I have been following his blog for a while now: initially out of curiosity for the forthcoming novel, but I’ve also been enjoying reading about his process. (Less do I enjoy the partial content RSS feed he publishes. Sigh. Someday people will get it.)

“A Memory of Light” is scheduled for release in the fall of 2009. And while that might seem far away, it’s probably soon enough for any dedicated fans who plan to reread the entire series in preparation. I’ll need to refresh who the heck did what the heck. I’ve always said that the only encouragement I need to chug through 9, 10 and 11 was a light at the end of the tunnel. Here it is.
